All About
Me!!!!
If
you're wishing to find out some pointless and interesting information about
me, you've come to the right place! I'll start with some...
Basic
Information!
My
name's Kyle, and I'm a 21 year old senior at the University of Iowa in
Iowa City, Iowa, and I'm an Elementary Education major (more on that below).
When school's not in session and on the weekends, I live in Ottumwa, Iowa
with my two great parents and cat. Like many people, I have great
friends, and, unlike many people, I work at the Capri V (read on!).
School!
As
I mentioned above, I'm a senior at the University of Iowa. I'm an
Elementary Education major with Reading and Language Arts specializations,
and I'd like to teach the upper grades... 5th or 6th grade... because the
kids are at an age when they're still excited about learning and fun to
work with, but they're old enough to wipe their own noses! I volunteer
at Mark Twain Elementary with Mrs. Burger's class, which is a lot of fun
and a great learning experience for the future. For a quick rundown

 Job!
I
work at the Capri V movie theatre in downtown Ottumwa, which is a sweet
job! I work with many cool people who have become good friends.
Plus, I get free movies, popcorn, and occasionally pins, posters,
and other movie stuff. I'm a cashier, concession attendant, doorperson,
and projectionist. If you live near Ottumwa, you may have seen me
there before!.
Computers
and the Internet!
Okay,
let's face it... I love computers! I use word processing frequently,
and I also enjoy playing games, especially Snood.
However, my favorite computer past-time would have to be the Internet.
E-mail rules! I don't chat online as much as I used to, but you can
occasionally find me on AIM
(KhronoKyle). I also enjoy multiplayer gaming on the net, including
Tetrinet
and 
(including Dominoes, Pool, various card games, etc.).
I
listen to music all the time; driving wouldn't be nearly as much fun without
music! I love a variety of different kinds of music... except I basically
despise country music. Some of my favorite bands are Ash, Blink 182,
Foo Fighters, The Getup Kids, Green
Day, Guster, Linkin Park, The Living End, Millencolin, MxPx, Offspring,
Ozma, Reel Big Fish, Saves the Day, Weezer,
Wheatus, and "Weird" Al Yankovic... in addition to many more!
Movies
and Cartoons!
I
love to watch movies! Some of my favorites are "Kung Pow: Enter
the Fist," "Rat Race," "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," and "Austin
Powers." I don't watch an awful lot of TV... but I love cartoons,
such as Family Guy and  .
Reading
and Writing!
I
enjoy reading, and my interests mainly lie in young adult books.
I LOVE all of the Harry Potter books, by J.K. Rowling, and I'm also
quite fond of Holes, by Louis Sachar. I also enjoy writing
poetry (although I don't do it often anymore), and you can read some of

Gaming!
I
love many types of games, including card games. Some of my
favorites are Rage, The Great Dalmuti, and Fluxx. I also enjoy video
games, and I still believe that the Super Nintendo had some of the best
video games ever!
